I took a look earlier at a phone shop. The flip phones average around like... ($50-$125 USD equivalent in Hirajiro currency) and smartphones, at least the one I used to have was like... ($2000 USD equivalent in Hirajiro currency). Probably because flip phones are outdated and because people like smartphones a lot better for their convenience.
