[ It's evening. It's not quite dark yet, since it's summer, when days last longer. Terry has been wandering aimlessly throughout town, ignoring the heat and the bandages around his forehead and neck. Thankfully, he didn't need anything like a neck brace and his hands still feel like they're stinging sometimes when they shouldn't be. Either way, he's wearing a navy blue cap over his head that covers most of the bandages, but they're mostly meant for the back of his head anyway.
He looks up at the sky--it's so clear, unpolluted, and beautiful. The orange gradient across the sky with the sunset as its lead performer is something he'd like to space out and gaze at for a long time. His expression is darker than usual--none of his usual smiles are there, nor is the stupid default expression plastered on his face more than half the time.

He considered using his pinpointing powers to find Rei, but it turns out that he doesn't have to. He sees where she is from where he stands and raises a hand to wave over at her a little. ]
[ leaving the hospital only moments before, rei has been feeling a little... lightheaded. it's nothing that she's not actually unused to. she had to undergo far worse tests before so giving a little bit of blood was honestly nothing but a cakewalk. maybe she should have stayed a bit longer after they finished everything for her, but at the same time, she wanted to quickly leave since she still feels quite uneasy around a hospital and because she also wanted to find terry to give him his little "gift" (which sits in her backpack). luckily, she doesn't have to go too far because there he is, waving at her. ]

[ she immediately runs on over and stops right in front of him, though she sways slightly to the side. bleh, no more running. that's woozy. she doesn't notice anything about the bandages just yet. ]
[ Even with the neck injury, he recovered enough for now enough to talk normally at the very least. He looks down at Rei, watching her sway a little. For a moment, he thought this was just something that young girls do when they're happy, but for some reason, it seems unnatural. That's why he decides to stop Rei's swaying by grabbing onto her shoulders for two seconds to help her balance. ]
[ she stops swaying once terry holds her and her balance is restored. she lets out a small "thanks" and stands up straight. ]
I got something for you! Umm...
[ she takes a moment to take off her backpack. she figures that pulling out a packet of blood right in the middle of the streets is a bad idea, so she just holds out her entire backpack towards him. it's a cute and small white bag. ]
[ He's always been a curious one, so he doesn't hesitate to look inside the bag and.

His face turns pale. Terry feels a swirl of gratitude and horror within him and realizes why Rei was swaying earlier. Rei has impeccable timing too, since he felt that his lifespan was nearing its end in several days. A third party, worry, overpowers the two initial emotions. ]
Rei... let's get you under some shade. And air conditioning. You're not in a condition to walk around like that. I'm thankful, but I'm worried about you right now.
[ Just gonna carry Rei bridal style now. Sorry about that Rei, but he's not going to take no for an answer in his current state. He's already walking off to a place that has air conditioning. ]
Maybe I should get a sunhat for you too... The heat has been really merciless lately.
[ Huh. The day is almost over, so a lot of places would be closing. Terry realizes this just now and just opts to sit on the benches in front of the bathhouse, where AC is blasting every time someone opens the door. He'll obviously make Rei sit at the AC side, of course. ]
[ since she doesn't actually want to fall or hurt terry, her squirming does absolutely nothing. instead, she's just placed on the bench by the ac. ah, that does feel nice... but still!! ]
I didn't want you to walk so much when you're lightheaded. You might get vertigo or something all of a sudden and... I wouldn't know how to deal with that.

[ Terry has a pretty dark expression on his face, but it's more along the lines of regret. ]

[ Terry's wondering if his injuries are worse than his. He did strike the center of his back... That could actually paralyze someone, but Mondo seemed fine with moving. ]

[ mondo has shown her so much kindness before. he can't imagine him getting into a fight. sure, he might look big and scary, but he's actually a really nice person and doesn't deserve to get hurt. rei's really upset that two of her favourite people have gotten hurt. ]

[ she has seen it happen a few times with the p3/4 kids and with herself and zen. they would fall asleep, get really angry, become confused, or even walk backwards. ]

... I've been experiencing some weird things lately. There was a full blown week where I could only tell the truth. This time, I... started a fight by punching Mondo first, but I wouldn't... normally fight him like that.
[ terry has some serious problems... he needs to see someone... also the mood whiplash doesn't bother rei that much because she is like that sometimes as well. she goes through her pockets to grab her omamori. ]

[ lmfao she's just copying how some of the p3/4 kids yell "persona" before they summon. it turns a few npcs but they just imagine that it's some tiny girl who has way too much energy and they are correct. what they don't see is that ananke appears and sits next to terry, placing a gentle hand over his head and neck to start the healing process. in the meanwhile, the little bunnies chill on the bench. some of them sit down and look around while others jump onto terry's lap. ]
[ His doctor friend was like "i give up" and let Terry do what he wanted in his home. rip.
And aw. Rei's so cute when she yells like that. Terry's becoming too doting. It really is becoming a problem. He doesn't care about the NPCs looking their direction either. The healing feels nice as usual and he wonders if Ananke is tired of seeing him yet lol
